2016-11-04  -   RAMPING UP TO THE FINAL STRAIGHT AT SELSEY LIFEBOAT STATION

Latest update from our team redeveloping Selsey lifeboat station shows the ground floor interior doors and frames now in situ, with making good underway in many areas. Cabling is in to the first floor, with lighting fitted and painting almost complete.

The All weather lifeboat floor and up stands are complete, with floor protection laid in both the all weather and inshore lifeboat areas, plus the workshop. 

The east ramp concreting is making great headway, despite initially challenging weather conditions causing the sea to almost break through the temporary bank.

We're remaining hopeful that Mother Nature will stay on our side over the coming weeks and months as the project nears completion.
