2019-08-23  -   RESIDE HANDS OVER PHASE ONE AT BILLINGSHURST SURGERY

Billingshurst Surgery in West Sussex has been an established GP Practice since the 1930’s and moved into the current purpose-built surgery in 1990. The building was extended to its current size in 2000. The practice currently provides General Medical services to over 13,200 patients in and around the town of Billingshurst. 

There are currently eight GP partners, a Salaried GP, an Executive Manager, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 6 nurses, 4 Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomists, a Dispensary Manager plus 4 Dispensers and 20 administration staff who hold various positions within the practice.

Reside Construction Ltd was awarded the contract to undertake a complete refurbishment of the whole surgery, without any interruption of service to patients.

Phase one is now complete, with new administration and practice management spaces handed over to the surgery. New consulting rooms are well underway in phase two, with a lift also being retrofitted to improve access in the building.
